Region: Blind Brook

South of the Nelab Mountain on Lucorene's northern-most island, deep in the forested land is the Blind Brook.  While Tearful Violets grow wild there, its waters are shrouded in strange mist that causes massive irritation of the eyes, throat, tongue, nostrils and ears, though it takes longer to wear off in the eyes, giving the region its name.  Additionally, its waters may not be very wide, but much of the region's geology is laced in obsidian from the dormant Nelab Mountain's former volcanic activity, and those who are not wary of the mist may find themselves falling onto the stone and perhaps crashing through a pocket of trapped air and become trapped or worse, the den of one of the many creatures to call the region home.  There are a few brave souls who dare to live in the region proper, known as the mist-walkers, they tend to harvest the wild tearful violets in order to sell their bountiful baskets off at port, as tearful violet is harder to grow outside of its native habitat, and they can thus sell it for less than those cultivating it in Tauceann.
