Five miles Southwest of Billuta, Haversham sprawls along the rolling Kiloja Hills where it holds gaze over the fields shared with Billuta. Having a wide river to its West and the Vapor Ocean to its East, Haversham has miles of irrigation running through and underneath it, hundreds of windmills and waterwheels serving to both transport the water to purification facilities and also for power generation. While electricity is still somewhat scarce in the city dwellings themselves, every street is lit up at night and many important businesses utilize the city grid running underneath Haversham in order to produce products that fuel the city's economy. Thankfully most of the residents of Haversham gratefully re-invest into the city and new ventures are cropping up toward not only expanding the power generation and security of the city itself, but spreading outward to its outer neighborhoods and other parts of the Adslein continent. Crime is low in Haversham, but unfortunately there are still dangerous animals that come from the seas and the forest between it and Ashencry.
The Draconis Dragon-Kin for the most part work in the city Guard and hunting down the wild animals that occasionally attack, as well as exploring parts of the Adslein continent for new ideas, knowledge and resources to bring back to Haversham, having the most freedom to move about the continent and world on the whole. The Gargoyles tend to make roost in the cliffs along the ocean, diving into the deep waters to explore underwater caves and the rocky ocean shelf. The Cubi for the most part keep their ships tethered to columns of stone rising up from that ocean shelf a mile out from the shore, trading with the Naiads that live deep in the waters, both disliking the somewhat strict laws of Haversham as the city aims to keep itself a tourist-friendly environment in order to gain more investment.
The Gitwerg and Goblins mostly keep to opposite sides of the city, the Gitwerg preferring to expand their homes down into the ocean, city regulations and law enforcement ensuring that despite the grumbles, the two species never have any intersecting tunnels. Any ventures in the land between their territories is mostly run by the Gnomes, who not only keep the shares fair between all the workers, but also have no objection to the regulations, though some claim that they both pay the city bribes and receive bribes from the Gitwerg and Goblins to keep things profitable for all involved. The Pixies on the other hand, tend to settle in two clusters, one staying near the fields and the other living near the forest, each working to harvest from both and minimize the dangers within both.
The Felinae and Reynix settle near the Gitwerg and Goblins respectively, both species having an affection for their respective neighbors and distrust of each other generally in Haversham. The Felinae rarely work outside the fields with the Human population and Pixies there, while the Reynix mostly stick toward the forest and the lumber operation there which they and the Kenthri keep running at a pace that seems astounding. However, despite the amount of wood harvested, the science and magic the two wield with the aid of the Pixies there ensure that the trees they plant in place of those logged grow exceedingly fast and it only takes four years for a sapling to be harvestable. Due to their techniques, however, the majority of this strange-pine has little to no grain which makes it valuable in certain circles, though not as able to hold weight as the natural pine. With how much demand the strange-pine has, however, its logging has far exceeded that of the natural pine, allowing the forest to easily compensate naturally for those that are not being affected by science and magic.

Population Center: Billuta
Poised at the Southeastern corner of The Sinister Swamp, Billuta keeps close watch on it, preventing the dangers within from spreading toward the fields that it and Haversham share. Spread from Mount Traynor to The Sinister Swamp and curving down to the shore, Billuta is not a city for the timid. Avalanches from Mount Traynor, the high tide and rocky shore and the dangers of The Sinister Swamp tend to keep all but the heartiest of individuals from residing there long. Built on columns of stone and metal, the city has a slow expansion and small but dedicated population that cares little for outside investors attempting to join its markets and little for the Guard representatives sent from the empire as few but the most veteran remain there for long, if they even survive.
The Draconis Dragon-Kin of assorted races mostly live in begrudging truce in Billuta, their squabbles overshadowed by the dangers surrounding the city on three sides. They mostly work as part of the watch, tho ugh some have taken to various craftsmanship vocations as well in their off-time to the extent that their former side-business has become their primary source of income. The Reynix tend to stay away from Billuta primarily, though some have taken positions as scouts darting into and back out of The Sinister Swamp barely beyond the sight of the watch's gaze, gathering information and samples that help aid in the city's defense as well as being of scientific curiosity.
For the most part Pixies do their best to help slow the spread of The Sinister Swamp with the help of the Gnomes, Goblins and Gitwerg to ensure not even an underground root passes unseen, creating great stone and metal tunnels bordering its edge which are warded with both magic and machinery that repair its wall and destroy any sign of intrusion with great proficiency. Some say that these tunnels are also being used cunningly by the quartet of fey species to also serve as entrance to other cities for smuggling and refugee operations, as well as joint mining ventures despite the distrust the species tend to have in each other usually.
The Gargoyles mostly live on Mount Traynor, trying to minimize the avalanches and help with various mining operations into its depths. The Felinae and Kenthri mostly keep watch of the shared fields, trying to ensure no rare escaped creature of The Sinister Swamp manages to slip past areas in the West of Mount Traynor where the watch is thin. Humans are a rare sight in Billuta, most doing their best to tend the fields and stay away from The Sinister Swamp. Cubi and Naiads mostly manage the port as their expertise in the dangerous waters is much appreciated with so much of the city's focus spent guarding against The Sinister Swamp's Southern border, while the Cubi and Naiads also patrol its Eastern edge where its vile hand spreads to the ocean.

Region: The Sinister Swamp:
South of Lythane, beyond the Ajan Ridgeline and the Yital Forest festers The Sinister Swamp. Covering forty-eight square miles of the Adslein Continent, The Sinister Swamp rarely lets those that enter it return, and those that do become catatonic at its mere mention. While none in the last few centuries have claimed to made it from one end to the other, even at its smallest point two miles wide, there are legends that Estelon Korrik, Glacias Dragon-Kin founder of The Church of The Golden Claw, braved its gloom and crossed its longest span of ten miles though none of his troop nor the quarry they were ordered to recapture made it out alive. As a result of whatever happened there he became reclusive for a decade before starting the framework of the church over three millennia ago. There are rumors that both he and a healer who treated him kept journals about what he described of his perilous journey through The Sinister Swamp, though if it truly does exist it may be lost to time.
While little is known about it, Billuta and Lythane do keep watch over its borders due to some of the creatures that come out of it and pose a danger to both populations. Mutant wolves and tigers twisted by some dark force in the swamp raid the farms of both villages if given the chance, their sheer size and ferocity matched only by the hideousness of their visage, teeth other bones protruding through their mottled fur, their tails almost skeletal and yet armored by their mutations. Giant insects have been captured on the edge of the swampland that quickly die outside it, and reptiles and amphibians with extra limbs and even genetic atavism have been found, as well as sightings of species thought long extinct.
Some swear to have seen a mutilated Wrende Dragon trying to fly out of The Sinister Swamp, but none have been able to capture conclusive proof and little is capable of damaging a true dragon in the manner of its described wounds, especially as they do not seem to have healed over the centuries of its sightings. Trapped quoma brought near the edge of the swamp always show disdain for its presence, attempting to fly away from it, even though they will ordinarily swarm over leylines, their intersections and other sources of magic, even amidst the battlefields and arcane wastelands that dot the planet Lenida. Tests over the years have shown that even the leylines themselves seem to rebound off of the region after decades of slow drift toward it, as if some force within denies the presence of all but the most powerful of magics.

Population Center: Lythane:
Resting atop the wide Gusho River, Lythane is a city North of The Sinister Swamp, separated from it by the Ajan Ridgeline and Yital Forest, as well as being South of the Western Divide of the Krendak Ridges and small Eastern Fields of the city of Sanctarrei. While Lythane itself primarily makes its living from the varied aquatic wildlife in the Gusho River, Junyit Sea and Vapor Ocean, it also keeps some land for livestock, farms and other purposes on its Northern and Southern edges, with some dispute with the Reynix of Sanctarrei about the total disappearance of said livestock and some individuals disappearing as well for periods of time with no recollection of what happened during that period.
There are no Reynix living in Lythane due to the distrust the city population has on average of the species due to the disputes with the Reynix of Sanctarrei. Pixies are few in number, mostly keeping to the Southern edge, and most attempting to keep Yital Forest from being harvested due to its small but diverse ecosystem and claims that its purity is keeping The Sinister Swamp from spreading further North toward Lythane. Most scoff at such claims, but with the number of disappearances of those who have entered The Sinister Swamp, or those who have returned being near catatonic at its mention, few pressure the Pixies about logging prospects in Yital Forest as a result. The Draconis Dragon-Kin living in Lythane are mostly Glacias Draconis Dragon-Kin, and most tend to settle at the base of either the Ajan Ridgeline or the Western Divide of the Krendak Ridges, preferring to keep guard over the city's most vulnerable roads and resources.
The Gnomes, Gitwerg and Goblins are few in number, but the long stretches of mountain and rocky soil along its Northern and Southern edges make for a large number of mining operations and fungal farms, as well as a small population dedicated to other employment fields. The Felinae and Kenthri mostly hunt dangerous beasts in the Ajan Ridgeline or the Western Divide of the Krendak Ridges, but a few also tend to some of the scarce fields Lythane has. The Gargoyles and Humans mostly try to keep out of trouble, having little to offer the populous aside from individual skills and experiences, and with the scarcity of room to expand, Lythane has little use for those that do not prove their value quickly. The Naiads and Cubi mostly tend to various fishing enterprises, but there are also quite a few diving expeditions to gain aquatic resources such as special types of medicinal seaweed and pearl harvesting.

Population Center: Sanctarrei:
Twelve miles Southeast of Dekan City, nestled along the southern-most peaks of the Krendak Ridges away from the ancient ruins of the failed settlement is Sanctarrei. While few Draconis Dragon-Kin live there due to the proximity to the ruins, it is still a bustling city with a thriving economy. The headwaters of the Rynell and Sarda Rivers begin just East of Sanctarrei, and their pure waters keep the hills and fields Southwest of the Hulna Desert lush and verdant, and there are a myriad of farms and orchards in that area, though that area is jointly run by individuals from both Sanctarrei and Lythane, which lays ten miles Southeast of Sanctarrei.
The majority of the Pixies living in and around Sanctarrei tend to keep to the swamp East of it, aiding the Kenthri with logging operations while ensuring that the balance of nature is kept, cultivating wild plants with a great many medicinal properties as well as great flavors. The Felinae and Gargoyles frequently go on expeditions into the ruins, seeking resolution to the spectral wanderers there and aiming to reclaim lost relics and secrets. The Naiads are usually found protecting the source of the Rynell and Sarda Rivers, though some also live in the swamplands Southeast of Sanctarrei alongside some of the Cubi population, fishing the Junyit Sea and quelling some of the more dangerous magical mutations that reside there.
The Reynix care for a few small fields East of the Rynell River for the most part, though complaints have come from Lythane over missing livestock and individuals who have disappeared for days only to return later with no recollection of what they did while they were gone. The Gnomes and Gitwerg have a symbiotic relationship of sorts in Sanctarrei, as the rock is too hard in most places for the Gnomes to dig, and yet the soil and cavern structures are too high in sulfur for the traditional Gitwerg crops to grow underground. As a result, the knowledge of the Gnomes is kept secret, but their own cavern farms manage to produce enough food for both cultures to thrive and blend together significantly. There have even been rumors that the son of the Gitwerg head miner and the daughter of a Gnome merchant have been seen sneaking off into various forbidden tunnels alone for hours at a time...
The Goblins and Humans are rarely seen in Sanctarrei proper, however, quite a few live along the shores of Lake Kannamir and Lake Arl, Northeast of Lythane, near to the Reynix-run fields. There feuds between the two cultures are frequent, mostly regarding past botched attempts to work together being foiled in the middle of the night and both sides blaming the other and raising their prices when selling to one another far higher than the prices they offer the Reynix...

Population Center: Gadje Village:
Twelve miles Southwest of Hadgre City, sprawling along the shore of Sahka Bay amongst the Ilyasa Fields, seven miles North of the ancient Temple of the Night, rests Gadje Village. While Gadje Village may not thresh as much wheat from its fields as Hadgre City, it is most famous for the many herbs and spices that grow there, as well as the numerous dangers. The many cliffs along its bayside shore are filled with clefts filled with all manner of predatory dens from arthropod, avian, mammalian, and reptilian species which are danger enough, but the strong tides and numerous aquatic species of predatory and defensively hazardous nature make few seek attempting cliff-diving or otherwise swimming in the bay. Additionally, while it is Southeast of the human Ulnae Colony, the whirlpools and currents make approach from Gadje Village suicidal, and there are many shipwrecks of unfortunate vessels beneath the deadly waters.
Unlike most of the populations in Northern Adslein, Gadje Village has almost no Draconis Dragon-Kin living in it, as almost all have a great fear of living so near to The Temple of the Night, far greater than fear of the dangers around the village itself. After the ancient desecration of The Temple of the Night, the Numen Turosh placed many curses upon the land, primarily, 'That no dragon, nor its spawn shall ever hatch within the gaze of the temple's spire'. Seeing as the highest peak of the temple's highest spire allows one to survey the fields and swampland for nearly ten miles before obstructions get in the way, the curse seems to have that range, which drove the Draconis Dragon-Kin to flee that radius. On rare occasion when other obstructions have gotten in the way, some have claimed that there are some Draconis Dragon-Kin who have been hatched within that radius, but due to the number of stillbirths that occured and decreased virility and fertility of those that lived in the area after the curse was cast, few Draconis Dragon-Kin live within that range, and the only other population center in the radius is Fallenguard. However, as a few human deserters and runaways made it home and a lot of the buildings were still standing when other species started coming to the Adslein continent, it became a haven for those who would bear its dangers.
The Humans living in Gadje Village primarily do their best to centralize the efforts to keep support for the human Ulnae Colony and equality for humans in other population centers throughout the Adslein continent, though it is a heavy burden. The Reynix have begun settling in and have begun the process of attempting to ease the wrath of Turosh on the behalf of the Draconis Dragon-Kin, as well as offering their varied services to those within the temple's gaze. Some even claim to have seen a few Reynix breaking the longstanding law of the empire and managing to cross the Sahka Bay to examine The Temple of the Night directly while avoiding the warriors of Fallenguard. The Felinae tend to hunt in the meadows and fields, while the Gnomes set about storing many goods for sale across the continent there as the land is ample and inexpensive. The Goblins and Gitwerg have no significant interest in Gadje Village, though some have been seen testing soil samples for some unknown purpose, as no mining operation has ever been started despite the decades of visitors of their respective species. The Naiads are settling in decently in underwater caves along the cliffs and alongside the Cubi there are a few rare salvaged treasures recovered from the shipwrecks that they have found and sold, however, the danger in the waters is still to present to make a more considerable effort in that regard. The Gargoyles have roosted along the cliffs and live relatively peacefully amongst the dangerous animals there due to their recognizably unpalatable nature. The Pixies have settled into the fields fairly well and many of the more private Pixie celebrations on the continent are held there. Kenthri also prefer to shy away from the land around Gadje Village, though the few that do live there do not seem keen to offer any explanation as to why...

Population Center: Hadgre City:
Resting nine miles Southwest of Obana Village, Hadgre City lays at the foothills of the Garshen Mountain Range, rolling over part of the Green Line Hills as it sweeps to the delta of the Sishane River. The majority of the city market is underground, dug into the ravines and canyons dotting the hills and
mountains with the uppermost layers being residences and farms with lush golden seas of wheat swaying in the ocean breeze whose harvests feed a large portion of The Great Suarn Empire.
While the majority of the residents are Glacias Draconis Dragon-Kin, Gitwerg, Goblins and Gnomes are also in high population here, with each strongly competing in the ship-building, construction and mining businesses. Kenthri tend to many of the larger farms with the help of hired-hand Humans and Gargoyles. Naiads and Reynix are rarely seen in Hadgre City, but those that are tend to compete with the Glacias Draconis Dragon-Kin and Cubi in the fishing and ship-chartering industry primarily. The Felinae climb the rocky peaks of the Garshen Mountain Range and frostline of Mount Runda while hunting and trapping, and the other Draconis Dragon-Kin are frequently seen hunting together with them, or checking their own traps. The Pixies frequently entertain children and travelers alike with their trained flocks of crows and scurries of squirrels performing regularly, though some of the locals chase them off as vulnerable fruits, vegetables and shiny objects tend to disappear when they are about. Additionally, while the wheat harvested rarely makes its way to the Human Ulnae Colony, there is a strong trade agreement between the cities, and many other goods and services are exchanged between them.
The hills further to the east are littered with the graves of fallen warriors from ancient times and those more recently slain as part of the guard or in small wars over the centuries. Living at the Eastern end of The Road of The Fallen, which runs amongst the graves, is the town's primary mortician, Myra Sholeencraft Wyllesolt, who some say has been seen suspiciously walking along The Road of The Fallen with dirt covering her clothing and her horse pulling boxes back toward her family estate. Far beneath the city uneasily rest collapsed catacombs and crypts which some say the Gitwerg or Goblins constructed as part of their trade routes before the Sishane flooded them after an earthquake, but their designs are unlike anything known in architecture from either species, making scholars puzzle over the matter. Some living in the depths of the city say they hear strange noises there, coming from the catacombs below, but no investigations have ever turned up anything concrete. Those that have ascended Mount Runda say they have seen shimmering lights there and most have stayed away from its peaks, however, a few brave souls have ascended its unforgiving slopes and never been seen again, though one who waited as their friend climbed swore that they heard a loud roar quite unlike the breaking of ice that climbers are accustomed to.
